After being a game developer for four years, I felt the need for GameCache was very real. My devlogs lived in scattered places, my projects had no single home that reflected the actual work behind them, and it was hard to get discovered without a proper portfolio built around what we do — ship games and share the journey. I wanted a place where your build logs and your projects speak first, where you can ask for help and share solutions with people who get it, and where indie creators can be found without shouting into the void. That's why GameCache exists.
